Re: Copelandia Bispora=Panaeolus bisporus [Re: Lizard King]

Nope, I think GGreatOne is collecting Copelandia chlorocystis, or possibly Panaeolus castaneifolius.

However, these photos are great but the shrooms are a little old. A few days earlier would have given us the correct color of the shrooms in their fresh stages rather than in their final drying before rotting stage.

I do not think thyey are in the southeast or west and I also think that it could be a fluke growth and nowhere else, but I could be wrong.

They could be all over if the sod at the church was new or the spores were in the fertilizers.

I do not think the mycologists asked the Church Pastors where the soil or fertilizers came from. Now that would have been intereting.

Have a shroomy day and may all of your days be shroomy.

Think these could be what GGreatOne is finding in Florida lawns?

Nice! So that's what they look like. I've heard of them, but I think that's the first photo(s) I've seen of those mushrooms.
Could they possibly grow on a bale of wheatstraw?
