First Time Grow, NEED ADVICE (terranium stage)
    #2808827 - 06/19/04 03:17 PM (13 years, 1 month ago)

I believe I had cobwebs, and after carefully spraying a part H-Peroxide Mix, it stopped, but now I just don't know what's up. These pictures are better than any words I can offer.

Can anyone tell me what's going on with these, everything around them is turning purple, including the cakes.

you definatly had green mold growing.pick all of the shrooms off. Cut out the mold and mist with bleach solution. make sure you wear gloves whenever you handle your casings your. you may want to coldshock before the second flush. hopefully you can kill the mold and get a second. be sure to pick them before the spores drop.

The bright green is just the picture, i couldn't find anything like that when I picked them. I'm drying them on a screen right now, with a fan. They are in a closet with a hepa filter. One of them was hallow and had a blue goo on all the interior walls. Any more advice, do they look alright, or bad?

You can start a new thread even if you don't have pics. . .

In high rH terrariums, you can get that fluff growing up the stems. It's normal and not a problem [unless you see the fluff turning green]. It can happen more as a fruit gets over-mature and starts to go downhill.

Most of the time some thicker fluffy looking mycelium grows up the stems of the mushrooms starting at the base as this is normal. I believe it might be caused by high humidity but it is most likely fine. All of mine always have that, some more than others. If it happens when the mushrooms are really young it usually causes them to abort as the mycelium seems to sufficate them.
