Getting into growing ganja is way more cost than getting into shrooms. But newbs go equally overboard on both. We've all done it at some point. Its part of the learning process.
I've helped ppl get started growing ganja and 95% of the time i need to talk down their expectations. Ppl seem to think that 300w of light and 4.20'x 7.69' space is gonna get them 13 pounds a month. And i'm like...

get that light within a foot of them and take the plastic off of the cups.
You're going to need an extraction fan pulling old air out of the tent and new air into it. I can make some recommendations for a great and very quiet fan for a good price if you want. You're probably also going to want to be pulling through a carbon filter with an extraction fan as well, they get more smelly than you'd think while growing.

That's like a day's work, compared to daily maintenance to grow it. Sure you can make the grow pay for itself and if you grow more than you smoke then maybe you can sell it. But without babying it every day, no one's going to want to pay for homegrown when Cali is in town. So there's never ending pressure to invest and research to compete with the market. If you can break in with some smelly mids then it can be profitable, that's where I'm at. But the dankest of dank is still eluding my every effort.
Besides time and money, the legal risk is what really sucks. Can't be sloppy with home security, gotta practice opsec and think about who knows. If you start dealing, basically everyone knows, so you gotta think about what you tell them like when you're home or how much money you have. Can't get too wasted. Can't have any guests over that aren't totally trustworthy. Friends betray you and you gotta turn the other cheek so they don't rat or rob you. Gotta end all relationships cordially, even if they deserve vengeance. If you do get taken advantage of, can't call the police. It's much more to think about compared to a monotub you can just slide under your bed.
I was growing dank by my third grow and I invested maybe, MAYBE $150 in start up costs. I wasn't even that handy before I built my first cab, but I learned how to wire light sockets and built a cheap cab that produced well anyway. Sure I invested a lot of time reading and learning, but it was fun and I learned a SHITLOAD of of other skills along the way. Thanks to cannabis I can frame out small builds, wire home electronics and other devices, grow a BALLER vegetable garden, diagnose plant deficiencies and ailments in many species, build soil from scraps, operate a greenhouse successfully, understand the basics of HVAC and airflow in closed spaces, ect ect ect.
It truly does not have to be an expensive hobby, and it can very very quickly pay for itself. Maybe you lost the joy of growing along the way or maybe it was always just a means to an end for you, but most growers really enjoy keeping a little tent and growing once they stop growing blackmarket or commercial.
As far as opsec, just don't tell people. If you deal, people don't need to know you grow. Your friends and family also don't need to know. I've been growing for over a decade and have never had an issue.

Removed the plastic, the light can't be moved closer, it's a standing lamp I'm just using till UPS shows up with my light later today and don't really have any shelf or anything to puttem on either
And the yes I need fans and carbon filter etc still, I'm definitely lookin for recommendations

All of what he said is definitely going to be needed soon. In the meantime, you may want a slight breeze on the wee ones. Even a computer fan blowing over the top of them will suffice until you get what you need. You want them to gently dance to build a strong trunk. Otherwise they will be weak and fall over in a cpl days

Yeah I gotta say I was pretty surprised how difficult growing healthy plants is. Like I never would’ve expected there were multiple ways to fuck up pouring water into a pot . Too much, too little, too often, whatever.
Shrooms are for sure way more of a pass/fail thing.
Like everything else though if you put the study time in you’ll be doing well enough to be more than worth it by the third run.

Light showed up, tossed that in, there's a fan in there now too,you can't see it but it's blowing directly at the plants making them wiggle a bit.

Looks real low. What's the light and distance it's at. It's better for the light to be too far away and adjust accordingly by observing them stretching for more light. I'd hate to see you cook them

Pics or it didn't happen. Maybe we're talking about different top shelves. I know some old geezers are nostalgic and satisfied with the 90s version of dank. But there's stuff out there that I really don't think is possible to grow for $150, let alone a decade of xp. But if it gets you high and people like it good enuf.

It's 18 inches from the top of the largest plant
Light is Spoderfarmer sf4000, I have it set to dim at 50% like the manual says

I'm constantly posting what I grow on a tight budget, I don't have anything that needs proving. I also didn't take pictures of my grows when I was starting up over a decade ago, remember opsec?
I do have some pictures of the cab after It had been around for a while

And one of the older plants:

I don't know why you're insisting I "prove" my budget grows when the internet is awash with cabs people have built on a budget and grown dank in. The learning curve is shorter for some folks, maybe because we enjoy growing. I'm sorry it takes you a few grand of gear and several years to get to good weed, that sounds like a real pickle. I am glad that you're growing top shelf now though, the world needs more of that

you might want to bump that up to 24" until they have a set or two of real leaves in. LED light is VERY intense and lil seedlings sometimes struggle with the intensity. Also make sure to leave the tent open until you get an extraction fan, and have a fan indirectly blowing air into the open tent on low. Just enough to create the slightest gentle breeze in there.
As for inline fans, I'm absolutely loving my ac infinity cloudline 4" fan. Pulling through a 4x12 carbon filter I can keep my tent at ambient room temp on it's lowest two settings, and it's nearly silent. You can find them on amazon for about $90.
Match it up with a 4x12 carbon filter to control scent. I hang my filter from the ceiling of my tent with the straps that come with the tents, run a 4" drier vent tube from the filter through the hole in the top of the tent, and connect it to the inline fan so it's drawing air through the filter. That causes negative pressure in the tent so the only place scent has to go is through the filter. Since I've been running the fan on it's lowest settings the filter is lasting me a long time, three years and going on a cheapo vivosun filter.

Fair enough. Tbh, I though of the dimmer after I sent that post but figured I'd wait to hear. I always forget about dimmers cuz I never use them. They certainly serve a purpose and in the right situation I would.
Good luck!

Air exchange for seedlings is not needed in that space. The reason for air exchange is to bring in co2 and extract the the oxygen the plants emit. Opening the tent once a day is more than enough at this stage.
The only reason I would keep the door open rn is to cool the tent, if it's hot.
I'm not signing up for a pissing match. Just my 2 cents

OK I pulled the light up a bit and dropped the fan to low
I'm afraid to over water but definitely think tomorrow they need a good watering because the soil is dry to the touch, got a lot done today

The surface will dry long before the soil in the bottom of your cup. When you pick the cup up with your eyes shut and it feels empty, it's water time
