Thanks I think you’re right about that. It would explain the initial smell of the potting soil used & the look of the plant overall. We also had some heavy rainfall a few days after it was planted. Things have dried up a bit now & I’m confident that this one will bounce back.
Though unfortunately while out today I’ve noticed that the third plant in my previous post, (The indica looking one). Has an even bigger issue with it;
    Looks like it somehow developed crown/stem rot over the last few weeks. I have no idea how though, I’m thinking either insects or wind damage. But I can’t see any obvious damage to the stem that would allow the pathogens to enter. Maybe it happened below the soil level. Either way I’ve wiped down the grey fuzz with 70% isopropyl alcohol. All I can do now is hope that it survives and doesn’t get cut off from its root system. Last time this happened to one of my plants. It went from looking like a healthy plant to completely withered in less than two weeks. So if I come back and this one starts to take a turn for the worse. I may need to salvage as many cuttings as I possibly can.
Not the best start by any means, but at least I still have 3/5 healthy trouble free plants…

Yeah that doesn't look good. If it was my grow this early in the season I'd dig her up and see what's what. It may be as easy as shaking the soil loose and spraying with h202 and adding some perlite or the like for aeration. Good luck

Thanks for the tip. Though I think I’ll let it ride for a week. If its wilting after that time I’ll definitely try to salvage some cuttings from it and learn the lesson to take cuttings earlier next time I ever see crown rot on my future grows. Fingers crossed she pulls through.

You take the bag with the seeds in it and tape it to the wall. The seeds know which way is down and if you line them up the roots won’t get tangled. Leave a bit of space for them so they don’t grow into the paper…

The roots go straight down like they were in the soil. Easy to plant. All min popped up in a day or less after I planted. It's just cool and maybe a little faster than laying them flat. Idk. I think It's cool is all

Ha! Pretty much just so your little roots don’t tangle in the paper towel… it really sucks if they get tangled and you have to pull them out the paper towel they grew into.

Sup folks. First time marijuana grow just began last week, germinated 4 seeds of Blue Cheese and tossed them into solo cups with some Fox Farm Ocean Forrest soil. I am a complete newb but have two long time growers in my ears helping me. Bought a 4x4x6 foot grow tent, Spider Farm SF4000 LED light, fox farm nutrients, 5 gallon fabric pots etc.
Will update as things get more interesting, 4 of 5 seeds I tried to germinate grew their root but 1 is lagging so maybe a dud or just slow
I am so excited because I spent the last 15 years only cultivating mushrooms, this is all brand new

My only advise thus far is, don't underestimate how much growth happens once you flip the lights. Good luck!

Ocean forest is a bit strong for seedlings, they may struggle for a bit. It's like force feeding steak to a newborn.

Deff keep an eye on the height of your plant. I would look into scrogging as 6ft could get tight.

Man that huckmonkey might take over lcxcn as the best stuff I’ve grown.
It wasn’t anything special early on but I tried some yesterday and a few months in the jar made a huge difference. Smell, flavor and potency were off the charts. Very strong sweet orange/pineapple scent now.
