Is this a gymnopolis mushroom?
    #28081470 - 12/03/22 02:45 PM (1 year, 3 months ago)

Habitat:
This was growing on the ground at an angle, no visible wood it was on but wood was all around it so there was probably some wood in the soil. This was in the pacific northwest region of the United States.

Gills:
Rusty orange gills

Stem:
Short and completely bent.

Cap:
I don't know how to describe the shape of the cap. Its medium sized and yellow with red scales.

Spore print color:
Rusty orange spore print
Bruising:
The stem was cut into several pieces. It caused very intense blue bruising to occur.

No, Gymnopilus has gils, not pores
