It's amazing she is able to benefit in this way. Thank you for the words.
She doesnāt experience any visuals or body high at her current dose. Sheās still able to drive, etc.

Update:
She had a neurologist appointment. The neuro said she has no change in her brain mri, no new lesions. Thereās new foot drop symptoms, but the neuro was unconcerned. She was cleared to continue microdosing by the neuro.
She also attempted to ween off Gabapentin, but breakthrough pain returned, so the psilocybin isnāt effective for that. However she reports that psilocybin is more effective than tramadol for PRN pain management.

I stumbled upon this post and read with interest. Iām 72 and have had MS for about 35 years. About a year ago I decided to try microdosing mushrooms. I read a lot on this forum (thanks everyone) grew some golden teacher and started to experiment. I found about.4 grams dry is a good micro dose for me. My main interest was in treating depression and It has no doubt helped me. I also think it may help with recovery of motor function lost from MS attacks and would merit study. I know with some things like alcoholism treatment, depression, PTSD treatment users report a kind of reboot of their neurological system. After an MS attack, motor function is frequently affected. In my case, I have a somewhat weak leg, walk with a slight limp and have drop foot. My left hand is also a little numb and slow which affects my guitar playing ability. So anyway while microdosing I ride my bike a lot and play the guitar among other things. Itās pretty hard to say for sure but I believe that my coordination and motor function have improved some. I know beforeI could only walk about a quarter mile and can now walk about 4 miles when itās cool outside. I am sure I can make chord changes a lot faster on the guitar too. I hope your wife continues to get some benefit from microdosing. If she is able, I believe it might help her to try exercising while microdosing by maybe riding a stationary bike or using an elliptical machine or swimming. I would really like to see a double blind study done with MS patients to see if it can help with improvement of coordination and motor function. I really think it may prove effective. Then all that needs to be done is some drug company would have to figure out how to charge a couple hundred K a year for prescriptions.

Update: Sheās been dosing dry, 400-600mg, 5x/wk with no loss in effectiveness yet. Her vitamin D has now increased to the point she was advised to discontinue supplementation and her cholesterol has dropped 10 points. We have no idea if either of those are related either directly or indirectly, but itās just more positives.
After 20 years with MS, sheās now on less medication than ever and more physically fit than sheās ever been. She uses an elliptical or does 3mi walks 5x/week. She is also now doing a full body 4 day split of body weight anaerobic exercises.

That is exciting news and it seems something is working, maybe it is the shrooms? We appreciate your updates. I am sure that those with neurological issues take notice and are inspired by your partner's results.
