So, I was going through my spores the other day and I found the original swab set I got to get me started with these. Obviously I used one but I still have the other. Anyone want the same spores I started with? I believe they were from mycelium juice which was from guerilla originally. Only 1 swab is left. I only ask that it be someone who has had a hard time with overlay or has had piss poor results. I don't want to give good genetics to someone with good genetics and isn't struggling. We all deserve to enjoy these.

That's really cool of you Bigworm! Hope someone takes you up on that. I'll probably throw some more up on marketplace soon too. If there's any active thread members that need less overlay, feel free to get at me as well- but sounds like you'd get that one sooner from Bigworm right now.
Got some new tubs coming in- thought they were GES clones, but no green eyed snakes in sight Makes me wonder if grain spawn that's more bacterial makes that happen in some sort of defensive response- as that's the only time I personally saw that phenotype, or if the grain spawn bags labeled "GES" on my shelf are the only clones I actually have and these tubs are just another "F" going. I should've labeled them better- but hey! At least they ain't Jack Frost
Still no overlay though!

iggycrop said: How does this look? Harvested the "erect" one that was pushing on the lid. Not sure what is ideal with these. First timer. About 50/50 oats/coir with a 3/4 inch "casing" of coir on top. Shallow unmodified tub with good surface conditions inside but the room has unstable temps and DRY air so I was not expecting stellar results. Just wanted to try it out.

Looks good to me, that tub looks like you’ll be harvesting a few each day for a while as they fill in

Has anyone figured out if it’s worthwhile to case those thick overlays or should we just let them be and see if they will fruit?

From what I've seen it just overlays on top of the casing layer.

When I add a new casing or top layer, the myc will just colonize it & overlay again.

I germinated some plates a few days ago, and turned them upside down. When i turned them over today i thought i was seeing condense mold or something, all my plates had turned into white clouds 😂 strange species indeed.

I take all active mushrooms as either tea from fresh or capsules of dried powder. As tea I think they’re fine. My GF thinks they’re disgusting.

I have a question about the green eyed snakes… are these more desirable phenos for some reason? And can I get a picture? I might have had a couple in my 3rd or 4th flush.
