What are your thoughts about going into a trip with a bad set?
For the initiated it's maybe not a bad thing.
More beneficial than going in feeling 100% maybe//?

Going into a trip with a "bad" set will be subjective, and varying in manageability from person to person. It depends on alot of individual factors whether negative residuals in the mind set will bare any meaningful anchors or distraughts durring the trip itself. I believe in arches and curves in ranges of everything and the outside factors that effect them. Theres places on the rainbow not to be...there's places on the curve that your mind may hold up where someone elses would not. I've seen alot of dark shit in my life, betrayal, addiction, rejection, depression, meaninglessness, ect... I've never really had the luxury of 100 percent. I don't think these negative things are whats driving these feelings and experiences. But it's definitely why i'm taking the medicine in the first place. Im taking this shit to increase my overall mindset percentages in the longrun. So if you 100...do you really need this stuff?
Setting and environment imo are things that you don't want to fool around with. Your environment can objectively look and feel like shit and WILL effect things. Your mindset can be subjective and in a wide range and what sauce is about is your level of control with them. Ive recently been cheated on and she is pregnant with somebody else, I'm being forced out of where I live and my days of tucking in my daughter every single night are coming to a near end. Im dealing with a whirlwind of issues and emotions. I know what a tv on the floor in the corner of a room feels like, and its coming soon to a dude near myself... I got my sights DMT so...lol fuck em.
If you have any history or mental related freakouts or expellments you may be on part of the curve where deviations in the mindset may be able to severely impact a psychadelic experience. If im guiding someone, I typically have them hash out some bad stuff a day before they wanna trip. But they dont have to lay it all out. It all really depends on what on the plate. Death??? Maybe we should talk about it before taking 3 lsds

what's good and what's bad? for me, being rigidly certain of something is not good. knowing that what I am thinking and doing is related to my reflex responses to my situation helps me not be judgmental. changing reflexes takes a long time, awareness, and practice, so I just need to go with what I am for now; without being rigid about what I am... if I can do that it is as if the chains of reflex have loosened. space opens up It also helps me if I reflect on how I stick naturally to the familiar, and that it makes sense to be open to what is not yet familiar, to get a balance going between what I know and and what I find fresh or new.
