Looking good so far. Hopefully I will have some spores to pass on soon.
@Mushymang I put spores to agar about two months ago and should be going to bulk next week.

i love natalensis
they make cute little clusters too

or look like harmless fat babies

they are spaced out

and not to be underestimated. i had 2.5g (!) fresh yesterday in the morning. and i felt their peaceful colorful spell until the afternoon.
but then again i am very sensitive to more or less all substances..

Awe shucks guys, you are going to make me blush. I'm happy to spread the love of Natalensis! They treated me well, and made me buy a bigger dehydrator. JW123, looking good! I can't wait to see how things turn out for you. They plate pin like all hell too. I have almost full grown shrooms in my plates.

I'm a bit disenchanted with Natalensis, I must confess. Got them very mild potency snakes on 1st and 2nd flushes. Today I went back to spores: Natalensis and RustyWhyte, so let's seeeee

The most mature pins seem to scattered around the edge of the bottle, where I assume FAE is greatest. But there’s lots of knots/primordia and a few smaller pins in the middle.
Is this an indication that I should up the FAE, hope the rest of the surface catches up?

Mushymang said: Wow natal looks impressive. What are the chances of plating sores on agar from a natal MSS and getting anything close to the growth that is being posted in this thread? I know so much depends on the selection of mycelium from the agar- I guess what I’m asking is would the genetics still confer the fast growth and hardiness if I was starting from scratch. Newbie so hopefully I don’t sound like a moron.
I’m a relative noob. My nats are my 3rd grow. I started from MSS, got weak whispy mycelium on agar, took it to grain anyway, and my shoeboxes are spitting out mushrooms in a seemingly unending supply. One drop from my MSS has generated ove 1.25 pounds dried so far, and 400g wet more this morning, and I have 6 more jars ready to be expanded, and 45 more jars colonizing well all from that same agar plate from one drop from my MSS.
These have been even easier for me to grow than my first 2 cube grows.
