Yeah the curled caps are really neat. I'm not sure if they're actually dropping spores. Should be easy enough to swab I guess

SexBurrito said: How did you do it with the oven? I did it yesterday overnight in the pot, but was wondering about maybe using next time the oven
I bag it all as shown then run 2hrs @160Β°F. I use a meat thermometer and poke it through one of the bags to the center and start my time once it reads 160Β°F at the core. Usually takes an hour or less to reach core temp because I load the bags hot.
I essentially do a bucket Tek but once the block is expanded I mix it all up then load the bags. The goal is to have very warm/ hot sub going into the bags so as to reduce preheating core time. At the 2 hr mark when it's done I take the bags out and throw them in a 5gal bucket with a lid and let them cool down to room temp over the course of a couple hours then use.
You can also just leave the bags in the oven and shut it off when you hit 2hrs. I just throw it in the bucket and get it out of there to free up the oven. Super easy and very reliable method. Each bag is 2 Quarts so it's great for making shoe boxes. Just grab a bag, open, dump and repeat. Limits exposure time for me since I spawn everything open air. I put wpoo in all my subs but this also works great for hpoo.</font>
Thanks man, appreciate it! <3

First flush from four of my first MSS shoeboxes

This PE was spawned a month before the 4 shoeboxes that gave that flush... Crazy how much longer it takes to grow fruits

Thx
I tired all of them. As can be expected the clone (gt2) from the local cultivator was strongest by far vs the ms grows (gt & aper). I cloned the largest fruits (which bruised dark blue) in hopes the next grows will be more potent.
Now that I know I can do it - the next focal points are: learning to select for potencyβ¦ canβt say Iβve come across too a good / efficient method for this just yet. As well as finding strains that are synergetic with chocolate (my preferred method of consumption)
Side note: I've only ever tried APE and APER from the penis envy linage. That said, I've had the opposite experience everyone else talks about. Not only do I find them weaker than other varieties.. but, I find (a)pe's to have a particular cheesy smell (all those I've come across). They also all tend to be fairly tall and slim (perhaps they require more FAE than others?)
Totally agree with the cheese aroma being a characteristic of the apes. At least the ones I've grown. It's like 2 day old Mac and cheese.
Ape clone gifted to me last year, that I've been tinkering with I offer as tax. Flush 1 harvest of t6. Currently dehydrating

Have you fruited the squatknots before? I can't seem to dig up much on that set of genetics and I had a mixup, or potential mixup with plates and spawn jars. Long story short I'm trying to find out what the squatknots tend to look like , and hopefully figure out if my plates labeled spore works pe are in fact squatknots.

Fucked up the tub with GT.. got a low yield compared to the others but it was a vital learning experience

Can I ask how you messed up the GT? I got some ready to spawn and if I can learn I'm willing to learn.

A couple of 4th flushes. The uncompressed casing layers really messed up the numbers on these grows. The previous flush was about 20g less, these were re-cased after with a compressed casing layer.

put in too much verm due to an error in calculation which led to hydration issues even though it seemed to be at field capacity - I didnt even need to use verm but I wanted it to be of some use so I tossed it in... I didn't put it straight into fruiting conditions, left the top closed for too long.. fanned, which isnt done anymore... wasn't sure about correct surface conditions and let the surface dry too much.
My 2nd and 3rd tub did pretty well, thankfully I was able to learn from my mistakes.

As much as I can using the back of the spoon I use to scoop it on there. Not really sure how to answer this question

Natal spawn

Somehow this guy grew behind the liner. The poof at the bottom is the base of it.

Gotta love g2g. I poured quite a bit in, this is atl7 clone 2 days after g2g.

There's nothing wrong with cracked corn, it colonizes the same as the rest of the wbs.
A couple different grain types and strains for your viewing pleasure.

From left to right; Natalensis on white sorghum, Natalensis on red sorghum, Natalensis on wbs, Playa Uvita on red sorghum, fp+ on wbs and my wild Natalensis on red sorghum.
