I took 1 gram of fresh semps today while harvesting my last tray. Have the day off and its really rainy out so figured it was a good day. 2.5 hours in now and it's exactly what I wanted - nice warm pleasant body glow with a bit of sweating, music in my headphones sounds incredible, really positive vibes - zero negativity or anxiety creeping in, and I'm plenty functional enough to work on all the cult work I need to get done today.

I got my first subtrop fruits! I took a gamble and ran an uncased mono, and it got trich (and some verticillium I think) right as the first pins were maturing. I think it was a little wet to start and then got stressed from the surface drying out a bunch. I got a handful of fruits though, and a couple were super dense and good sized. They all bruised dark blue and black almost instantly.
I cloned two bigger dense ones and will go back and run this culture again cased. I have a few other cultures that look promising to run too. I'm determined to get these down, but am happy I got some fruits at least from the first go even though it contaminated.

Nice job.

Angam, nice work!
The color of your caps look good for printing to me.
I wrote about my timing & printing Semp here and there if it can help.
But on my grows, the signal I had (around 20 days after pinning) was a dark line on the gills like on this photo:

You can even see tiny black spot on some stems.
Hope this help.

TRIP REPORT
I just tried my first semperviva trip. It was overall quite pleasant, and very interesting. I'll describe it with lot of focus on differences between my cube trips and this, but I want to acknowledge it was only one trip and we’ll see if it tends to be a consistent pattern in subsequent trips.
Overall experience with psychedelics is mostly limited to tripping on cubes, so that is my baseline frame of reference. I really enjoy cube trips but they are often heavy and challenging — not in a “bad trip” sort of way, but they always bring weighty existential questions to the forefront with an intense mixture of emotion. My body high on cubes is usually intense and often uncomfortable for me on the come-up, and any stimuli gets overwhelming and uncomfortable. When I trip I usually make sure it’s a dark and gentle space.
The semps I took were maturing for a full month, with the caps very curled over and darkened. They are very fibrous, durable, and firm mushrooms! I decided to take 2g dried, pulverized in a tea. First thing that I noticed is that I barely tasted the mushroom — it was delightful. I told myself going in that I didn’t have any expectations but the truth is I had implicit expectations based on my previous cube trips. I was, without realizing it, expecting a similar pattern.
After about 40 minutes, I started getting that buzzy feeling that tells me I’m gonna get hit hard. I braced myself. I enjoyed about an hour of pretty intense but very clear and lucid tripping. I’d classify it as a solid level 3. I lost myself in Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here album (cliché I know) for a while. Stared at my walls for a bit with some cool fractal visuals. It had some great moments, but I was also a little unsettled and unsatisfied. It was then that I realized I was extremely hungry, and that sensation kept pulling me back to reality. These weren’t suppressing my appetite as much as cubes and I needed to get some food. I was surprisingly clear headed, and I couldn’t decide if I was really high or not? Two hours in, I got up to go to the kitchen and the world was definitely swirling — so yeah still pretty high but also unusually clear-minded with all my faculties.
The bowl of cereal I ate was —and I can’t emphasize this enough— absolutely fucking delicious. I’ve never been able to eat under the influence of mushrooms without it being gross. As I was devouring this bowl of Corn Pops, watching an adult swim “Off the Air” video on my iPad —both things that would have been unbearable on a cube trip— I came to a realization that turned this trip around. I was letting my expectations from previous trips get in my way. These sempervivas are their own animal and I need to treat them as such. This is when the real fun started.
From here, I’ll describe my semp trip as just straight-up fun and light. After getting that food in me, my body was now comfortable enough to leave my mind alone and I had a blast watching music videos and random shit. Art was beautiful, movement felt great. Stimuli wasn’t as overwhelming and everything was just delightful and rich. Unfortunately I had already kinda peaked by the time my attitude shifted, but now I know for next time!
It didn’t last as long as I’m used to — which really nice honestly. I got a solid 3 hours out of it and then it came down pretty suddenly but gently.
Three words can sum it up: light, fun, clear. It was a concise trip without all the existential baggage I’m used to. I'd almost compare more to the one time I tried LSD (which I loved). It was bright and delightful.
I’m excited to try them again. Next time, I’m going to approach it a little differently. I want to start my trip in daylight and worry less about overstimulation that I get with cubes. I’m really interested to see what these are like for microdosing. I can also see these being fucking awesome for a concert or art gallery. I'll probably follow up some time with another trip report, I hope it's consistent with what I experienced because once I got the hang of it it was pretty great.
Peace or whatever ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

For whatever reason I tend to need more than most so that's not entirely uncommon, but I will say compared to other trip reports I was expecting 2g to launch me further into space.
They took forever to pin. I tried approaching it similarly to Fresh Prints, and my bag was fully colonized for like 3 months with no results. I almost gave up on them but decided to try casing which triggered pinning almost immediately.
Next time I bet I can get pinning much faster.
