Ok, a little history first. I have done many grows and now every time i get the same problem. Everyone's favortie green mold!!!!! Everytime the BRF makes it through the jar stage fine. No problems there. The problem is duing casing i think. At first if only got the mold when it went into the terrium. Now i get it before then. When the casing is incubating it starts to get it after a week. So, sometimes it makes it to the terrium but now i have to toss it before then. I am using 60/40 coco coir and vermeculite. I pressure cook the casing mix for 30 mins. I use lots of lysol too. Am i doing something wrong? Please help!!

The problem might be the casing layer mix or maybe the incubator. Maybe you should clean the incubator but anyway, do you cover the the casings while they're in there ? I can think of several solutions about the casing layer: Try PCing longer. Try changing the coco and verm brands, it means buying new material. Try using just a straight verm layer.
Good luck MAIA

I cover the casing with plastic rap and its pretty air tight. I am thinking of using a little h202 more often to help fight it. I am gonna try the microwave technique to see if that help. Shoud i use strait verm on the bottom and top?

Personally, i believe double ended casings are better when retaining water excess but it isn't really needed if you know the right water content. Btw, i've tried the microwave technique with success. Good luck man

try sterlizing the verm before you make the casing you can do it in the microwave. just make sure you let it cool completely before you make your casing.Always wear rubber gloves when you make the casing.
