How to wire this fan? 1

Hi all,
I need some help wiring up this fan for my flowhood. Model is (Torin afzuigmotor 1500 m3/h) I am confused with the wiring diagram that was provided with it. I also want to add a switch to the setup.

On the side of the fan a cable comes out with three cables colored blue - brown - green/yellow. Blue = neutral Brown = Live Green/yellow = ground

This is the power-cord with the same colored cables.

This is the switch I want to add

And finally the wiring diagram that confuses me.

How do I connect all these up? I want to be sure that I don't blow something up.
Thanks in advance

This thread was moved from Mushroom Cultivation.
Reason: More of an electrical question.

I've wired those type furnace fans before (on furnaces) and usually there are more wires for high, medium, and low but I'm not seeing that on yours The simplest thing would be to attach the wires by color and forget that weird looking switch Just unplug it instead of having a switch in the loop

Yes there is only one setting on this blower. I would really like to attach a switch so I can keep the cable in the wall and just turn it off from the flowhoodbox

Not familiar with the switch you're using but it looks like you should be able to connect Blue to blue, green/yellow to green/yellow and the brown from the cord to the terminal below the L on the switch and the brown wire from the fan to the terminal above the one that looks like an r. Otherwise, if you have a multimeter I can tell you how to check your switch to make sure that's correct.

For about $7 you can get what you need at any hardware store 15 amp light switch A switch plate cover a plastic outlet box 2 yellow wire nuts
First, don’t have the cord plugged in Run the wires thru the ports of the outlet box (select which ports depending on which way you want your wires running) and attach a brown wire to each of the two screw terminals on the switch, use the wire nuts to twist the blue to blue and yellow/ green to yellow/green. Jam it in the outlet box, screw the switch to the outlet box, and put the switch cover on. If you have a place to mount the switch, you can run a screw thru the back of the outlet box. It’d be really hard to mess up but worse case scenario the breaker trips and you reset it

LOL
If he follows your advice, he will probably get shocked.......because he Lives somewhere in Europe or at least all the stuff he got there looks pretty German to me. For sure the writing on the , what he calls switch is German. They use 220V over there and the Hardware is a little different.
Your Advise would be 100% right ,If he would live in the US. (I'm a US Journeymen Electrician)
There are no "Hardware stores" in Germany........they got OBI or so, that's it.....lol ( the German Homedepot)
I did another look at the Motor. That thing is from the Netherlands......btw, it says it right there in his description. torin afzuigmotor Torin is the Brand and Abzuigmotor is so Netherlands for exaustfan.

I am back from the dead. I ended up wiring it, it wasn't that difficult. Here the picture. Black = switch wire Brown = live wire Green/Yellow = Ground wire Blue = Neutral wire. Now I have a working flowhood.
