Ha, yep. Typo. One more question. Just because I have tons laying around from my tarantula keeping hobby. Could I use 16oz deli containers for PF tek instead of mason jars? I see some members use PP5 lunch containers.
If so I am all set. I wouldnโt even have to pre-poke holes for inoculation being plastic lids, just push the syringe through.
If your containers are pp5 then yes. I use pp5 almost exclusively, even got pp5 petri dishes.
If the containers have snap on lids you do need to poke holes or they will explode/deform in the pressure cooker.
If you're using twist on lids like the ziplocs in my gallery then you just leave them a bit loose

I will stick with 4 oz. Or 8 oz. Wide mouth jars then, until I get my first fruit under my belt. I have a few jars laying around somewhere.
I just looked up my deli cups, they are PP5 but the lids are not so they might melt in the Instantpot.

I got from the deal: P cubensis pes Hawaiian P cubensis pf red spore P cubensis pf classic P cubensis GT Panaeolus bisporus Panaeolus (copelandia) cambodginiensis sandose domesticate Thailand suphanburi goliath Agrocybe aegerita
With this said, i just made agar in 2oz. deli cups to do tiger drop tek. I have not inoculated yet, letting them cool in the fridge.
What is the easiest tek to go with for a beginner? I have everything for BRF tek but donโt think you can tiger drop into the jar. This will be my first grow and want to try something easy.
Would you recommend BRF or PK or some kind of grain tek for first grow?
I would like to do monotub or shotgun but will to go easy for beginners until I learn more. I have considered grain to bulk also.
There are so many options here, I am sure there is no best way, but what do you guys recommend I start with?
Even what spores listd above should I go with?
With all due respect, after reading the OP and the whole thread, I doubt that
I'm not sure why not one linked it yet, but I'd suggest you do some more reading, specifically starting here -> Updated PF Tek and fruit in water tub
Best of luck to you
