Best TEK for small quick batches?

Hello,
There is a pretty old post about Bottle TEK, which I'm interested in because I don't need big batches, and I'm much more interested in experiments with different species and cultures. My agar plates got better recently and I have some clean plates, woohooo, time to prepare LI and inoculate my bottles or whatever. That's where I stumble.
So, as far as I get it, for fast grow and small batches there is no need to prepare spawn and then bulk substrate. Basically, I can put any substrate mushrooms like into a sterilizable container, sterilize it, inoculate with LI, wait for full colonization + some time for consolidation, then birth or just remove lid and put into fruiting conditions, for example a ziploc. If my substrate can be shaken, things will be a little faster.
So, what's the best substrate? Is grain better than PF Tek? Should I bother with adding verm to grain, or just grain is good enough? Is horse manure worth a try?
Also, what's good LI TEK, preferably without blender? I think I saw something about using Hydrogen peroxide, but can't find it now

Just follow mudas TEK you have linked or check out pastywhyte's invitro straw to get started and then go from there. Include different nutrient sources in our experiments. I like to use grain flour or bran over grain. All the nute sources and sub recipes listed in the TEKs will work well enough. You will have to figure out what suits you best and try things out. Keeping the substrate airy and not soggy helps a lot with good colonization and if it's shakeable then things can be sped up but I would not get hung up on speed too much because once you have a few bottles on the go things will grow and keep you busy/happy while others will colonize.
The main thing is to get started.

Muda's bottle tek is still a good way to get results.
You need a water holding sub/ straw, coir to go along with your mycelium food/grain, flour, dog food.
Being in a hurry is usually not the best opening line.

i actually recently started trying out bottle tek. seems like a lot of people recently just do 1:1 grain to coir, manure, or straw so that’s what i went with. 1:1 WBS to coir. but you can get crazy with what you put in there. can confirm LC is sick to pour into bottles
