uneven fruit set, wait? or harvest and dunk again?
    #28022651 - 10/29/22 10:44 AM (2 years, 2 months ago)

Hello, I have a question regarding harvesting I know it has been discussed many times but I feel this is a bit different.

I had a nice yield from a Mondo grow kit. Approx 350g fresh weight. I harvested a lot of nice mature fruits.

But during harvesting I realised there are still a couple of very underdeveloped clusters there. So I decided to let them be for couple of days.
I noticed they have somewhat different morphology than that big ones had when they were in the same stage, I think they looked weaker, thinnier.

I waited a couple of days and see they are not growing that much, they stay almost the same. Fearing of that the mycelium may get too dry, or the next flush start without dunking again (I already started to see the new pins forming!!), I decided to harvest them today. On the image you can see how they look like.  They didnt changed so much for a half of the week.

My question is that if I did right thing, or should I have waited for them another week or half? Or even was I supposed to harvest them with the big ones? The veil looks not broken. On the substrate I already see the next flush has started forming up. Without dunking.

Thanks

Most of those are aborts, they wouldn't have grown any further.

Dunking now may abort your next pinset, you could try bottom watering to up the moisture content for your second flush.
