Yeah it's a clone. It outperformed the MS, but not by much.
This is the MS grow I cloned from

Bahahah! The very idea that those MS could be outperformed is hilarious. Great job as always, Fresh

Elegant looking mushies
10 days after pinning.... not thrilled about the sparse canopy but hopefully next time I'll get it dialed in better. One can only hope to get a canopy like The Fresh Prints there.
Some stray notes / observations: - I'm using millet, sent to 100% coir. - My method is pretty similar to The Fresh Prints, but the bag sat forever (closed) after fully colonized with no pins so maybe genetics behave differently? Eventually I opened up the bag and gave it a hearty misting to no real effect. - I was only able to get pinning after casing with cactus soil. Almost immediately after that they started appearing. - The casing isn't applied very evenly, and the fruits seem to only appear where the casing is a little thicker.
I've got some plates with genetics from Melgo, and it'll be interesting to see if those behave differently than what I have.

Lol not as bad as you'd think. Most of the dirt brushes off and the leftovers mostly came off in the dehydrator.

Final update on this tubs first flush, I would have liked to let them run a tad bit longer before harvesting but have to go out of town for a bit so going to clear it, take some clones, and see what happens next flush. This was my initial trial with these mushrooms so ms grow. Unmodified tub ran with 50/50 coir/manure substrate at like 1:3-4 ratio, cased with peat/lime. Spawn was put to bulk pretty much immediately following full colonization. I followed damn near exact procedure I do for fruiting tampanensis, twice daily heavy misting morning and night since casing. Glad I started with 4 tubs as all said this was the only one to make it. Hoping a clone will help fill in the gaps and even out the flush for future runs. Also going to be trying out different locations in my room as this tub was situated in the corner with the least dense area of the tub sitting up against the wall, I think moving into a more worsted spot will also help in filling in more evenly. All in all Iโm happy with results and look forward to improving the technique and of course trying them out in the near future!
