Are these liberty caps moldy?

Hi guys, these are some specimens I got from the wild. I left them in a opened plastic tub lined with tissue paper to air dry for 4 days. When I played them in the container to start with they where sticky and they seemed to be pulling some fibres off the paper which I wasn't too worried about because I assumed when they dried out they would fall off. But after they have completely dried they still have this white fibrous material on the caps. I'm unsure weather they are mouldy or not.
I have some pictures here, they aren't very close as its impossible me to get the camera to focus on them close up.

I would of eaten them now but I tripped on LSD less than 24 hours ago so I imagine the effect they will give is going to be largely suppressed. Hopefully the batch isn't ruined

Probably paper towel fibers.
Doesn't look like mold.

Ah okeydokey mate, I'm keeping them in a cool dark area sealed in a tub so whilst I'm waiting for my tolerance to come down I'll keep an eye on them. If it gets worse i'll just chuck them as i'd rather be safe than sorry. Cheers for the input though mate

Put them on some foil near a radiator or other heat source.. They'll rot in a tub.

Leave them on foil in open air, or on foil inside a tub near a heat source. I'm still new to foraging and storing them haha. From what I've read when they are dry you should keep them sealed in a container, but if thats completely wrong i'll see what I have on hand now to keep them preserved. Cheer mate

Sealed if they are cracker dry like zero moisture at all. Any moisture at all and they do spoil if sealed up.
If you are just waiting a few days then leaving them in open air near a heat source would be the way to go, as stated...
