Coir weight to volume

Can any of you please give me an idea about how many grams coco coir I need to break of to get approximately 3 liters fluffy hydrated volume? I don’t want to end up with too much extra and nothing to do with it.

I doubt people can answer this because coir isnt made all to the same granularity or compression and wildly varies between manufacturers and even batch to batch or brick to brick in a 5 brick box.

Only way you can know is to break off a little bit of the specific coir you have, add water and hydrate. Keep doing that till you hit the weight you want.

I'd bet about 250 grams of coco brick get you pretty damn close once hydrated to field capacity, but as was said above, there is brand differences for sure
