What do you mean 12 min or 12 days? Just asked a question. Surface is full of small droplets why is it dry?

It's hard to give a precise estimate of when something is going to pin, because it depends on a lot of variables.

How long has this tub been colonizing?

And I think the surface only looks dry because of the lighting. Usually coir is pretty dark colored when it's hydrated and in this photo it looks pretty light brown, but again I think that's more lighting than anything. I do see some nice water beads on the surface, it looks pretty good to me.

At this point, the most important thing is your airflow. To produce big healthy fruits, you need steady, consistent airflow.

Been 2 weeks now. The coir was at field capacity when i made the tubs... The tub is inside a closet with light set on timer for 12 on/off cycle. Didn't have to mist it till now and wouldnt it cause the surface to be too wet if i mist now with all the water beads ontop? I have a small fan (one like the ones used to cool you down working with usb) should i point it to the opposite wall of the tub and start air circulation now?

At 2 weeks, you'll probably be seeing pins in the next 2-3 days.

You don't necessarily need to mist it -- if the surface conditions look good, don't mess with it.

You don't need a fan. A fan will cause too much airflow and dry out your substrate significantly more. Passive airflow is what you want. Make sure your tub has some holes for air exchange. Bod's monotub TEK should clarify some things.

What he means is, the mushrooms come when they feel like it, not on a math schedule. Several variables make them pin faster or slower. We cant look at a picture of your tub and say when they will pin. Patience is not optional, it is required.

I have one strain that takes 30 days to pin almost like clockwork.  There is no telling when it will pin until it does
