Colonizing

Do you know what might have caused my colonized grain jar to not want to brake up when trying to do g2g? I had to shred it up with my scalpel, it was almost like shredding up a hard foam material. Thanks

Bacteria primarily but other contaminants will also make spawn incredibly hard to break up. A general rule of thumb (assuming you can't tell by looking at it) is that if your spawn doesn't break up in a few thumps in your hand it's contaminated. I hope you didn't g2g it.
How did you inoculate your grains? Spore syringe into the bag/jar?

It's almost always one of a few culprits. 1) Your culture wasn't actually clean 2) Your sterile procedure needs work 3) Improper/incomplete sterilization of your grains.
Do you have a picture of the agar you inoculated the jars with? You gave us very little information to go off of so we can't help you much until you give us more details.
Oats are finicky - they give a lot of people grief, but then there are some people who love them. Personally, I have had very little success with oats

Hard to see but they look too wet to me. Also, how did you sterilize them?

How did you prep your oats? Did you properly vent the PC before starting the timer? For how long? My PC goes 0-20psi. What pressure were you cooking at?
You're still giving us minimal details and expecting us to diagnose an entire process..

Boiled 40 mins, spred on screen, sat for 2 hours, then put in fridge over night, following bods easy af oat prep. Got pc fully steaming for 10 mins before placing on the 15 psi weight and starting the timer.

Once, you see steam and lock pops up, set timer for 15-20 min. I do 20. Then turn down heat set final timer

Your grain prep procedure seems ok. When I was still using BODs easy AF oats I'd point a fan on the oats over night and they'd still be sopping wet. Oats are such a pain lol. I'm not trying to annoy you by playing 50 questions but if you had a picture of your agar that would help a lot. Now it pretty much comes down to either your agar being dirty or your sterile technique being bad
Like I said before, oats can be tricky to work with. It really seems like the only reason people like them is because of their cheap price tag. There are a lot better grains to work with if you don't get them dialed in

Bod's oat prep didn't work too well for me either; too many burst and sopping grains. Eat's water soak prep, on the other hand, did the trick. Though it still took time to dry since I don't have a mesh strainer big enough for the job yet. I think this is where people get frustrated with oats and/or declare them "worse" than other grains, because it's easier for jars to get too wet (and subsequently bacterial) if you don't properly dry them.
Back on topic, I'd also like to see OP's agar work in order to narrow down the possible issues here.

The agar was far from organized and most likely still has bacteria piggy backing.

Can't see much in the latest pic, but the agar plate you posted looks stressed. Healthy myc should look much more neat and even than the patchy growth you have happening there. Do some more transfers to clean it up or, if all your plates are looking like that, review your agar prep and sterile technique.

As in, like, facial hair?? Is your entire head inside your SAB or something? I'm really not sure I'm following your question

Anyone know why the G2G receiving jars that received grain from this nasty jar broke up so much easier and look so much better? I wish I would have took pictures before I shook them but I didn't I'm sorry I forgot.
Ps This time I could actually smell a very fresh mushroom smell while shaking the jars, which is the first for me.
