i confess that i have been arested once for 18h for having to much mushrooms in my backpack while hitchhiking with a friend that has 100+ cm dreads and of course gets pulled over everywhere ..

but i said i picked all the cubes in the wild (in norway lol) and so i just got a fine and had to go to this ridiculuos courtsession and tell a judge that i would never pick mushroom again.
(meanwhile i was locked up they arrested somebody random that was tripping HARD on mushrooms and had like a full night of full-on death panick in the cell next to me, cosy)

I confess, while PC'ing some grain spawn I accidentally left the burner on the medium setting for the power burner instead of my usual medium setting for the simmer burner and left it unattended. This was the result...

Lmaoo... yeah thankfully the PC itself was fine. Black on the bottom but it all scraped off just fine and should still work.
Smelled god awful for sure. The smell is only just starting to leave

I admit I tilted and raged trying to break off 650g of coir off that big ass fucking brick.
I just threw it all in a 66qt, dumped 6qt boiling water on it and keep my fingers crossed I'll be able to bring that to field cap (no idea how much it weight - prob over 5 pounds). I'm boiling more water right now cuz I feel it'll need a lot

Thanks for the tip.
Sadly I won't be able to use it anytime soon as I'll have coir for months and months now
That brick is still chugging water and keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger.

Damn I wish I had not lost it when trying to break that brick.

I think I'm winning that fight but, it's still soaking water, my kitchen is a mess and I need that tub to spawn it

I tried that once, it was not a happy experience, and it made a lot of mess.
I find a chisel or screwdriver and mallet worked better. Still made a ton of mess but at lest I could hit something.
Will never buy big blocks of coir again.

Trying to chip and saw apart coir is a fools errand. Just hydrate it all and use what you need when you need it. You can store it and rehydrated the uncompressed coir as needed.
I personally think bricks of coir are a PITA and i prefer bags of uncompressed coir.
But what do i know? I'm just a lowly farmer.

Yup that's what I ended up doing.
I spawned my tub and found myself left with a shit ton of coir.
Only had 1 tub I could spare to store it and I couldn't fit all of it in there so I doubled up some recycling bags.
