We live in a kinda poor community, this kid plays basketball with a 5 gallon bucket tied to a fence. Occasionally when he misses he hits my house with the ball. Instead of coming out yelling at the kid i would much rather just buy the kid a real basketball goal to put in the street. How would be the way to do this? i thought about sending a new perchase from amazon or something to his porch, or having it sendt to me and setting it up at night in his street. My goal here is anon and kind, and not rude or creepy.
Advice?

Maybe just buy it and set it up at your place "for the neighborhood" to use.
or
"Oh hey I noticed you've/your kid has been playing basketball.. I/my friend has this old hoop that's been sitting in storage/my garage that nobody uses, could you use it?"

Have him hit the house one more time, come out, go to his parent(s) and ask them permission to gift him that.
However you do it, go to the parent(s) first in any case.
Many parents would be alarmed if a gift for their kid sender unknown would arrive. Rather than happy they would fear their kid is being groomed.
It is wonderful that you want to do this but go to the parent{s} first.
