What to do with this bag? It's been 4 weeks since inoc... the surface grain seems to be dried out and the myc wont colonize it... can I open the bag, invert it and toss the loose grain and put the rest to bulk?
Why do people dislike corn so much? Is it the sugar content?
Inoculated some 800gr tapioca and rice cakes. What would you guys advise for better yield: water tub or ziplock bags?
Sorry in advance for all the questions (feel free to answer in PM to not fuck up this imagery thread)

Have you mixed and shook that bag up yet? If not do so massage break it all up oscillate it around get it mixed up good.
Any fruiting chamber works well it doesn't matter as long as it gets proper passive FAE while still maintaining humidity levels.

FML, I thought of that, but didn't want to wait another week or so... :P Weird life we are living, massaging bags and shit... but the smell that came out of that filter was worth it!

I think itโs just genetics. That type of knotting is weird, Iโve only had it once or twice before that I remember but there was a conversation about it here a while back.
Last time I saw it I ended up with a full canopy, this one was kinda funny with the knots up on the caps though.

You can rub off the top layer of uncolonized grain and use the rest

Edit: pic tax from a walk in the woods. Nature was the one cultivating this time, not I

We were looking at one of my aa+ tubs that was piling up with knots a awhile back and you talked to me about this. I got a canopy though. It's definitely weird stuff.

Untreated wheat seed. Sometimes called wheat berries, red wheat, winter wheat, whole wheat. Just make sure it's untreated. Organic not necessary.
