If you ever buy some glass petris you can see a huge gap between the ID and OD. its a big gap. SPG how much do those racks go for? Got a link?
They aren't screw top. They are petri dishes, 100mmx15mm

Just wrapping in foil then removing the foil after the pc and leaving them unwrapped has done great for me. Y'all should give it a shot.
How I wrap and the results after sitting in my drawer for two weeks are a few posts back in this thread.
Or ditch the foil and make it even easier!

That was gonna be my next purchase if the method I described before failed. I imagine they work great and do make it easier. You do have to be careful unwrapping the foil and putting them aside so you don't open them. I figure with these holders it's as easy as flipping upside down and sliding it off the stack.
I remove mine by turning sideways and pulling out with the cage since I have limited space in my SAB. It would be nice to have a flow hood so I could just lift them straight out without turning sideways or upside down.

I know you've answered this before but I forget, you're using 100mm plates right?

Mine was only $24 total to my front door. Youβll need to drill a hole through the top/lid and you wonβt have the cage to conveniently pull them out, but as long as the spaghetti barrel is stainless steel, itβll probably work just fine.

Awesome, I may still get some just to eliminate all the foil I throw away after unwrapping.

Itβll take quite a bit of foil to break even on the barrel, but for me it was just a quality of life upgrade.

They fit the 75mm plates ok. I did 5 each. I think it could fit 6.

Idk how many plates you PC at a time, but I just ordered 18 of those storage/ sterilization tubes off alibaba. They came to 15 a piece if I remember right. Comes with the rack and hole already in the lid. Added a case of their borosilicate glass plates for $120 so we will see how that goes.

See homie, petri dishes. Just like you, except not glass cause that shit turns to 5 bucks a plate with shipping to America's Hat.

Gap and all. Actually "vented" too, if you zoom in at about 4-5 o'clock in the first pic you can see this little plastic line on the lid that keeps a slight gap between it and the bottom.

The shipping cost is 200 for 18 sterilization tubes, 144 glass Petri dishes, and some assorted other lab equipment. Iβm almost convinced $200 shipping is a base price thing.

My biggest selling point on the tubes, is that after you sterilize, you can just tape over the holes and around the lid to keep it sealed til you need it. Plus it should fit beside quart jars in the AA for a pc run

You donβt have to tape the hole. When you open the PC, just rotate the cap 180Β° to seal the holes.

Yeah the pp5's have a little <1mm gap, and the plastic grips so they don't move at all when you carry a stack.
The glass ones have a 3mm gap - when you first see them it looks like then sent the wrong lid. They rattle around when you move them, it feels like they're drawing in air.
