I cant find an answer anywhere. I do quart jars for 35 minutes, not sure if it'll be longer or the same amount of time. I dont want it to burn or carmalize. I havent bought them yet, but im gonna get a 24 pack atleast. anyone know the cheapest spot?

20 minutes @ 15psi is plenty for liquids. 24 jars of LC can inoculate an insane amount of grain so you may want to start with smaller runs until you figure things out fully.

That's a huge jar. I've always PC'd for 30 minutes, but I'm sterilizing a pint.

So it looks like no one really uses half gallon jars? Is there a reason to it? i dont think ive seen a post here with a picture of anything bigger then 64 oz lq jars.

Are you using a syringe or pouring your LC? Either way, that big of a jar will be a pain to work with. I like many small jars of LC compared to a few big ones

big jar equals big pain to pour.
How much spawn are you planning to inoculate? I make about 120ml of LC in pint or half pint jars and easily do 10 quart jars of grain, while being generous and still end up with some left over. You don't want to dump too much LC into grain because it will mess up the moisture level

i have like 144 jars of grain. I usually use 10cc of lq. and what do you mean a pain to pour? i dont pour liquid culture, i inject and withdraw it with a syringe.

You run 144 jars of the same culture at a time? Dayum!
I pour LC like G2G style. Haven't mucked with syringes, for me it's an extra step and another vector for contam in a SAB. I assume if you're doing that scale of work that you have a flow hood.
10 masters will g2g into 100 jars easy.. just how I'd rather do things. Saves having to clean 100+ LC to grain jars on the off chance it's contaminated.
I bet you'd still be fine at 30 mins PC cycle, maybe go 45 and see if it caramelizes. Liquids sterilize easy
