Do anti-psychotics (specifically prolixin) inhibit psilocybin

I get a prolixin shot once every two weeks...state ordered
but I want to trip this coming week
IME..in the past psychiatric medicine has inhibited the effects of psilocycin
do you think if I eat my mushrooms at 1 week and 6 days from my last shot I will still trip?

The general rule of thumb is anti depressants and anti-psychotics will all either depress or nullify the trip. You should not be eating mushrooms if you're state ordered to be on that stuff cherkycherks.

While I can understand why you'd want to get off antipsychotics, your first step forward from this point should be getting off the court ordered treatment. In order to do this, you will have to take the medications they prescribe to you until you reach a point of stability where they will allow the court order to expire.
You can't say no to drugs, but you do have some say in which drugs you take. If you're experiencing unbearable side effects from one, try a different one. I would also start taking an N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) supplement daily and quitting any THC usage for the time being. You can still smoke/vape hemp flower and dab CBD and CBDV terpsolate if you have a cannabis habit.

if the prolixin dose isnt too strong, with that particular drug it might be possible to still feel trips. The 5-HT2A effects are fairly strong but 10x weaker than the dopamine D2 effects. Unlike with many modern antipsychotics, this cuckooos nest drug gas antiserotonin as a side effect, not the main effect.

Yes, in addition to blocking dopamine, most antipsychotics also have affinity to the 5-HT2A serotonin receptor as an antagonist, which would directly block the effects of psilocybin.

I tripped pretty hard last night despite the prolixin. I feel good and refreshed.

Although, it seems that anti-serotonergic effects contribute to much less side-effects overall. The newer agents are even stronger on serotonin than they are on dopamine - Lurasidone for example has its strongest effect on 5-HT7.
It is the anti-dopaminergic effect that seems to contribute to the highest risk of side-effects such as weight gain and more seriously movement disorders such as tardive dyskinesia.
