My long term storage solution - 2ml distilled water vials. I love these vials. I use them to make spore solution from swabs, long-term storage, and I dip my sterilized loop in them before rubbing a print to get more spores on the loop. Very handy. The holder withstands PCing too.

Here's the parts that I don't like.
Grey discolouration in the top circle, metabolites in the bottom Yellowing. Frankly this whole side just looks fucked
Here's some of my millet, the pints. The one in the first pic had been in the fridge for a couple of weeks as well.

Very nice. I bought a few of the 15ml pointy tubes cause they come in smaller packs. The only cryo vials I saw with the holder were packs of 500. Lots of other ones but they didn't say they were polypropylene so I didn't get them wasn't sure if they all the same. Definitely a fan of all this usage too.

I think thats a husk being deformed by the embossing on the jar. I see no metabolites. Hardly think the spawn is "very much so bacterial" i would spawn that without thinking twice

Which spot do you think is a husk?

Looking at the jar, the spots circled do just look like seed husks to me. The yellow colors are millet husks, and that dark spot is some other seed (not sure what the type is). I will not touch it a couple more days and see if the myc looks better. I may have just shaken it so many times that it looks strange.
