I think these are nats based on some other pictures. I made a dumb mistake and was messing with a few prints and forgot to label them so these ended up being a mystery until they grew.

I'd like to amend my previous Nat trip reports:
I've been tripping on nats exclusively for the past few months and I didn't think they were that much stronger than cubes, just a little different. Well this weekend I sampled some of my stronger cubes with some other people. They did not hold up well against the nats. Other people reported that the cubes were great, and they were ok to me too, but the same weight of nats blasted me pff.
So... Yup, I'm pretty sure the nats are very different.

Colours and stems look consistent with nats, but send gill pics for verification.

Are you judging the experiences, nats vs cubes, purely based on how 'strong' the effect was ? Could you judge how relatively euphoric nats vs cubes are ? And/or, how emotionally negative/or non-negative, the trips were, nats vs cubes. And/or, how visual ? How social/empathic/sympathetic ? How are nats different to cubes ?
Please let us know ;-)

Nice, those look good and don't have a super heavy spore load. My Nats just jizz everywhere and onto everything.

Same for me mate. I thought they could easily go one more day, come home from work and they’d shot their load!

I'm curious to see the difference with my shoeboxes. I have brf cakes used as spawn and grain. Anyone use cakes in their shoe boxes?

Went away for a weekend trip. Came home to nat jizz all over this shoebox.
So much jizz it looks black on the substrate and most of the caps. Some of the lighter coated mushrooms allow you to see the purple tint.

My first two MS cultures I ran weren't bad at all with spore jizz, half or more of the caps seemed like they were sporeless actually. The clone I just ran was obviously not like that though. I might go back and pick a clone out that doesn't make a mess...only so much space and time to work with though.

So I picked these today and weighed them. So far over 600g from a single myco quart and 0 work or attention once I spawned to bulk. I’ll be rehydrating overnight tonight as it’s the only option I have. I’ve gotten 4 flushes so far from this shoebox.
It took forever to get me from spores to grain with nats, but they are certainly going easy now! I’m estimating 2-2.25oz dried from a single shoebox/quart. I’ve got so many more jars coming behind this one. So excited. Nothing has been easier to grow once I got it in the shoebox. Totally just ignored them. Loving the nat world.

I've read through this thread and I'll be happily testing out your theory that noobs should start with nats. I just received my MSS from a Trusted Vendor, and I've got agar plates waiting for work. By this time tomorrow, it should be begun.
Hopefully in several weeks I'll have some progress to update. Excited to be out here on the frontiers of this variety with you all!
