I just wish it was legal. Would remove a ton of associated stress.
Other than that, it's easily the most satisfying hobby I've ever had.

Naturally, you could use a load cell and set it up to check the load achieved between dry and saturated coir. Use an over the top hmi panel linked to the load cell with an active display of temperature, humidity, etc.
Everything can be over engineered.

I seriously wonder, with all the psychological benefits that come from psilocybin, if they will ever be legalized. I’m not the conspiracy type, but it’s nearly impossible to think of the justification for them remaining illegal as long as they have. Only the profoundly ignorant believe them to be harmful.
Would be great if I could turn this into a legitimate business one day, but the cynical part of me doesn’t believe it will happen.

For those that think the level of idiocy on the forums is high... take a moment to imagine what will happen if psilocybin is legalized..
Just sayin.

It was explained in "Change your mind, change your life" that psylocin treatment for depression/anxiety, etc. wouldn't make the major drug companies any money because you only need 1 dose and you could be cured for years or a lifetime. Therefore, there is noone out there making it legal through their money and influence on government.
These guys are making some small steps in the right direction if you haven't heard of them. I like how they don't mention the word "drug" ever, just enthenogenic plants and fungus.
https://www.decriminalizenature.org/
"It is time to end the war on entheogenic plants and fungi. Support the unalienable human right to develop our own relationship with nature.
Entheogen to generate or inspire the divine within"
So beautifully stated.

Alcohol is already legal. Look what it does, and nobody cares. And considering mushrooms will never have a ton of popularity, I don't see how legalizing it would be harmful. People gonna be idiots no matter if it's legal or not. It's just that when it's legal they don't have to fear oppression and (hopefully) have access to quality drug education and harm reduction. So IMHO it would make it much safer.

Imagine we had a drinking forum where we had to explain how to drink and how not to pour alcohol into your eye instead of your mouth.
That's sometimes how I feel shroomery is

If people grew up eating shrooms I feel like that knowledge would be more ubiquitous. It only seems like a stupid question because very few people know how to use psilocybin.
Who among us didn’t have to figure out how to drink in the beginning? Just because the method of ingestion is straightforward doesn’t mean we didn’t have to figure out our own physiological limits at first.

It was a bad analogy, I was equating cultivation questions to drinking questions.
