Why do you vote?

I seen a lot of political adds everywhere telling you to vote for people in the upcoming state election. I’m not doing it it will not make a single bit of difference anyway. I don’t think anyone on that ballot is going to do anything I care about at all. I will only vote for someone that wants legislation of freedom seems everyone wants to restrict freedom. Some guy named John Gribbs apparently wants to bring back women’s suffrage he doesn’t want women to vote or be judges or have any power. It’s insane I consider voting just to vote for someone else wtf I can’t believe the guy is serious. Some women are dumb but some are smart just like men.

Because it's the bare minimum requirement of citizenship. Not voting is the ultimate way to say "I don't really care what happens to any of us"

It absolutely makes a difference. You think marijuana legalization just happened by itself?

This is just state elections. Vote for the marijuana legalization guy if it'll make difference. If no candidate is worth voting for, like equally bad and no real difference will accrue then I can understand and even endorse not voting.

I voted and I voted for Biden, yeah its laughable but I had to fall into the cliche of voting for the lesser of two clowns.

I really don’t think politicians do anything except mess everything up and restrict freedom. I really wish everyone would refuse to vote.

Yes, and its very little for us as individuals, but a voice nevertheless. Unless one dedicates thier life to caucus and convincing others, it is a fleeting jump shot at the buzzer.

I’ve been involved in multiple local, state, and federal campaigns and lemme just say: the more involved you are in the electoral process the more you realize how little your involvement matters. Local and municipal elections are the best, though.

Then the one guy that decided to go the other way and votes for themselves gets to run everything.
Turns out Biden was the marijuana legalization candidate all along. Huh.

Wake me when it actually happens. They can’t even pull the trigger on a common sense move during a campaign season where the existence of democracy is literally at stake.
Sure we let the GOP continue to build power but we couldn’t bear taking a tool away from the fascist police state.

Ya apparently Carfentanil is schedule 2 also so it’s just as safe and an effective medication. Although it says the only prescription is for animals vets tranquilizing bears and elephants. It’s way more dangerous than fentanyl. I’m pretty sure the illegality only benefits organizations that are doing serious criminal activity. I think the people I get my weed and RC chemicals from are normal people but the people real illegal drugs come from are literally killing people in horrible ways.
Prohibition only benefits criminals and creates more crime sometimes I think about doing crime to get attention from them they actually like bad things. I don’t know how to summon them for a drug deal. I wish I didn’t have to but I can’t find any way to get coke meth and heroin without proving I’m not some cop or something. It sucks im sure the people at the pharmacy would sell me way more pure stuff and put the money to way better use. Suck a tragedy

At this point the corruption in government and the unreliability of election results basically shows to me that voting at this point is like making a wish list for Santa.
I honestly believe at this point that the only real way to effect politics is to become rich and to bribe/lobby those in power.

I have nothing against the practice of voting per se - but I don't participate in electioneering because I believe the time and resources invested in voting campaigns would be better invested in direct action campaigns instead.
I still void my ballot in order to preempt criticism like this:
