Derrayled Nats are the only time I ever transfer tomentose growth. Idk why but I’ve had much better tubs as far as overlay with tomentose culture.
Good to hear this. I'm on T4 and Tome!

Less overlay with tomentose growth? I love how unpredictable this species is. I've seen the opposite so far but have only selected for tomentose once.
Current pheno i'm getting from this rhizo culture:

Compared to this culture which I posted pics of above. Thicker, more twisted and turned, and almost PE style caps

I tried cloning a blob for an Enigma style grow and after thick overlay, it pushed some mush. Lots weirdness in the bag.
Maybe better than Enigma? It is Natal, pretty equal mush:overlay ratio and it makes spores!
Dread Natty dreadlocks....multiple caps with growths on them.

Luckily you can choke the shit out of Enigma and it don't care so restrict FAE almost completely that way you don't need to worry about it drying

Yeah they definitely are. This is my 2nd generation I've grown out. Original print came from pitcher and then I grew that out and this grow is from one of those prints. A bunch were given out around February of this year. Not sure if I've seen anyone's grow from them, but I may have just missed them.Quote:

Fucking incredible. I can't tell if this looks like a lot of weight or not. It's packed but they are thin little guys

I don't really track weight anymore. It seems like a good first for 6 myco qrts. I'm curious about second flush. They are the smallest caps on Nats I have grown.

Couldn’t get a great pic but got my first Nat pin! An in-vitro one at that. Had no luck with Nats for LAGM, went back to spores and still got nothing but some thick ass overlay. I have some new spores from a different source and these seem to be doing much much better. This is a germ plate where I just shoved the swab in.

Nice pins. That tub I posted had a nice thick overlay. I left it for a week and boom.

Nice man. Yeah my tub is looking pretty normal at the minute but I'm thinking it’s gunna overlay like a bitch. As long as there’s fruits though it’s all good with me.

Do you guys harvest the overlay? If so, do you do it after the first flush, or later on?

Not Quite Social said: My experience last night taking 44g fresh (3g, if they had been dried) came in two phases.
The first phase came on subtly. I laid down in the dark by myself on a cot in my lab. I found myself interacting with a continuously changing and ephemeral dreamscape and presence. The more I asserted my will in the dream the more the dream evaded me, so I learned to let go and let it be, and I fell asleep I guess. I don't remember the falling asleep and waking up transitions.
The second phase started when I needed to use the bathroom. It was a great pleasure simply seeing things differently and indistinctly (and not seeing things but imagining where they were in the dark) and negotiating my body through physical reality in darkness and dim light--I did not turn on any lights. I did not want them on at all. I felt like bright lights would undo the spell. I enjoyed walking to the bathroom, and to the kitchen to get a drink of water. All the while, I spoke my stream-of-consciousness thoughts out loud to myself, making easy, fast-flowing and fun associations and rhymes, and giggling at myself. I was hyper-verbal. I was my own goofy narrator. I felt both thoroughly and superficially euphoric, brimming with intelligence. It was blissful without any real emotional depth, and with no darkness. (The first phase was moodier, but not dark.) I enjoyed the entire trip for what it was. It didn't need to be different or more. It lasted 12:25am to about 5:00am. I woke up again at 8:25am kind of feeling it still, but also it was done, and I started my day.
I've had a leftover feeling all day today that I don't know yet how to understand, except that I appreciate how interesting this has been. The whole experience was fascinating and enjoyable.
Thats funny you mention about the rhyming, I did the same thing my whole higher dose nat trip - all my thoughts came in an endless stream of rhymes, I would free flow about everything I was doing and thinking and it just came naturally.
