That’s plenty.
Doing 200-300ml lcs I’ll start using them day 5 or 6 if I’m in a hurry.

So I just prepped oats and pulled out a pint of the water. I know that is a lot for lc but if I take 200ml of this water PC it and once cooled should be good for inoculation. Do I have the right idea here? Do I need to add sugar

I just wanted to pop in and say this is the best LC info on the net in here IMO. This thread inspired me to try using .1% LME LC in capped syringes for long term culture storage. I just started doing it early this year, so we'll see how it goes, but I think it should and it would just make things so easy.

You may have problems getting the mycelium out of the syringe (thru the needle) as it will be too dense. Learned the hard way sadly.
Nice thread BTW!

Hopefully not. I'm keeping them in a fridge and they aren't really growing after being put in there. What gauge needle are/were you using? I've pushed and pulled some pretty thick myc through 16g needles.

AFAIK it was 16g and i had problems getting the LC in from the jar. Should be easier to push out though.
