So far out of everything I’ve grown, GT are still the most satisfying for me. Granted I’ve only grown about 8 varieties. Maybe I’ll find something cooler soon, but I don’t think I’ll stop having GT in my rotation.

I gotta get around to collecting spores at some point, these and starry nights would be good to keep some for backup or just more pheno hunting, and of course to share hehe

Three cubes and three pan cyan in straw based Muda Bottles, ready for casing. I dropped like half my grain master in one of the cube bottles by mistake, that's the one that's more full.

Why the cubes in straw? Is it an experiment or just how u normally do it?

Nah, I don't normally grow off straw but I've done it before. It's a pretty normal sub for cubes and I just happen to have a bunch

I concur. With the price AND availability of quality coir and vermiculite going through the roof I brought straw back into my cube game...cutting soaked coir with dry straw to bring to field cap has been working great for me.

Of course you need a real pasteurization but I live for that kind of stuff.

I sterilize everything anyway so it works out great for me.

Only thing is I'm using straw pellets for rabbit bedding and it can quickly turn into a sticky mess if over hydrated

You sterilize straw for substrates?

I sterilize coir and it works well even if maybe unnecessary...

Yes, I sterilize everything I use indoors. Mostly cause almost all my grows are bottle tek and that's just how that rolls.

Also sterilize my casing cause it's easier to just throw an extra jar in with a batch of bottle tek

I've been known to overcook a sub from time to time.

Metabolites. Gotta cook em before you eat em though.
