bicycle wreck
    #2795853 - 06/15/04 06:51 PM (13 years, 5 months ago)

Hello Pub,
Today I was riding my bike to class and coming down a hill. The road curved around and it was wet and my bike slid out from under me. I did about 3 rolls along the asphalt before I came to rest. I walked home with blood pouring from my face. I don't know if wearing a helmet would've saved me, didn't get any cuts on my noggin anyway. Went to the emergency room and the doctor sewed me shut with 13 stitches. Now I don't have a left eyebrow, hoping it'll grow back in a few months. So the moral of this story is if it's wet be extra careful.
love

Sorry to hear that.

Let's hope the same asswipes that mocked Bush (but oh so suprisingly not Kerry) for crashing on a bike, don't feel the need to slam you.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. ~ Adrian Rogers

I was mountain biking the other day and went over my handle bars and face planted right into the ground. Luckily the dirt was soft and I only hurt my neck a little. If it had been pavement I'm sure that I would've at least lost a few teeth and broken my nose. I always wear a helmet.
