I had the same problem with specimens I've found. nasty nasty little worms. They are a form of larvae that a certain fly lays if I can remember right.

If you brew a tea and add a lot of powdered Vitamin C before boiling for 5 minutes
you will kill all the worms, kill any bacteria, and not lose much potency at all.
Strain thru a clean sock to get out the shroom and worm bits.
Add 1/3 package of Kool-Aid per serving and about 5 teaspoons of sugar per glass to make it taste GOOD.

If you have eaten peanut butter, you have eaten several bug bits. Don't sweat it.

Yeah, the bugs really won't hurt you. I used to have the same problem. I'd throw the mushrooms in a dessicant chamber and dry the fookers out. If you can stomach the thought of eating worms, I'd just plan on eating them.

The only time you need to worry about your health if you're certain of your ID is if the mushrooms are rotting, this can cause food poisoning.

alright guys, thanks yeah, i know they cant hurt because they are just protein hehe. but what i have been doing is just letting them dry out, the worms fall out and die right away, so they dont have much time to grow very big. eating a few worms cant be bad at all, i mean we eat all sorts of bugs while were sleeping.
