I don't know that I've ever heard of "mushroom tension." Maybe it describes the initial come-on stages of a trip - when you get the tingly feelings in your limbs.

Or maybe the tension refers to the experience of having your asshole torn open by your new cellmate's hard, dry penis. I dunno.

When I took my second lot of mushrooms I got very strong sensations of falling and movement, and I automatically pushed against these sensations. The next day it felt like I had spent 6 hours in the gym. Maybe this is what you mean.
