i was just looking to gather some ideas and thoughts, i will post results in a few days/weeks as they become ready.

DO NOT USE POPPED MILLET. I TRIED IT AGAINST THE SHROOMERY'S ADVISE AND ALL 12 JARS FAILED(INNOCCED UNDER GLOVE BOX). JUST START OVER. YES YOU PUT ALOT OF WORK INTO THOSE JARS BUT IS 1 DAY LONGER MAKING NEW JARS BETTER OR WORSE THAN 2-3 WEEKS SPENT WAITING FOR CONTAMS TO COLONISE?

well i didnt really put a lot of work into it, its only two jars anyways. and they are in their own ziplock bags as a precaution. if they bomb, so be it. if they dont, cool, one more casing to play with.

oh and its only two jars, i have plenty of other things to do in that two week time, isnt expermintation the key to learning? but if they do fail, i will let you all know.

GRR.....my friend just checked his jars and there was popped millet in there too! He didn't think anyone else had had this problem. Oh well.....
