Looks like you did it right so far.  More substrate = more fruits (to a point ofc)  It might take longer but the payoff is better so in the long run, you made a correct decision (imo), not a mistake… unless it took like a month longer

I edited my post a little and what is OFC?

And yes it took a month to colonize :tongue2:...lol

Thanks,

Hey, what's your sub and spawn ratio coco, verm, gyp and h20 amount?

I'm assuming that's a 66qt tub!?

Thanks,

That’s not PE. It’s some kind of leucistic, possibly LPEU? or rusty white, aa+ or maybe apeu. Impossible to tell until you see what color the spores are and then you might be able to narrow it down.

Looks like a good tub.

 yeah, I thought they were the snake pheno, but after fahtster said tamps I looked at the picture again and realized he was right.. I didn't notice the double tub until the second look, that's a cool fruiting method  do you do that with all your tubs or just species/cultures that need more FAE?

Here's my other two tubs, notice the brown circles in the first pic at the top left, that's where the bacterial from the spawn bag came to the surface and the pins go around them...

The bottom pic, I think looks pretty good...

Yeah that’s atl7 from spore. It’s like 5-10% RH for me with an AC blowing 24/7 so I run all my stuff tub in tub because it’s the only way I can keep decent conditions without having to monitor and mist constantly. So nice when stuffs dialed in, I haven’t had to open a tub before harvest in a long time.

Those look amazing for a 4th flush! Do you patch your casing between flushes? 20g panaeolus is crazy big!

I've got some bisporus going on agar again, I need to grow this one more!

Maybe packing really smoothly the pseudo casing is causing that!?

:mushroom2:

I just harvest shoeboxes that were so full that the little bits of casing that didnt have fruits had pins and the fruits all had lots of pins growing at the base of the clusters not to many pins that helps them create a great microclimate

Heres a little PE side by side comparison, same SSLC, same sub, both 16qt tubs with 2qt jars of grain. 1st tub has 16 small holes, 2nd tub is unmodified. I think they could use some more holes....

The size is 16qt tubs.. pics needed a lighter in it or something.. sometimes I remember to do that, sometimes not.  That was 2qts of grain to ~6qts of CV.

@evylshrooms Not sure about the bruising you’re seeing.. I’m not seeing any but I’m old, so

Nice side by side!  Yeah, they always do better with more FAE.. esp the last day or two
