I know that there are many factors that go into whether mushrooms grow in a field.. my question is...
about 6 years ago some friends and i stumbled on an AMAZING field here in alabama.. we yielded aprox. 30 lbs over a summer (if not more)... of course we were young..and had parked the car in an obvious place.. farmer thought someone was breaking in his house ..called the police..etc etc.. ANYYYWAYS.. on to the question..i went by today for the first time in years to scope the field.. there were 2 right next to each other (1 barbwire fence dividing).. the cows used to be in the one on the left (where we found the majority of the shrooms)... NOW.. they are all in the other field.. there are NIIICe big clumps of grass sticking up throught the 'old' field.. and the new one with the cows looks nice too.. I am going out tonight REGARDless.. just wondering what you all think about the possibilities of there still being shrooms in either?
(we found 2 kinds in the field that summer.. the 'pans' or 'mooncaps' as we call em.. and the 'rocket caps' (red top almost phallic looking)
