Haven't seen an impulse sealer that is 400mm but still has a 3mm seal or more.
Maybe my requirement of having the seal this wide is a bit much?

Has anyone had a decent food dehydrator from Amazon? It has to be Amazon for the one day delivery. As always I’ve left everything to the last minute and need to be using it over the weekend. There is a few decent looking ones or there but the reviews seem to be all over the place.
My current one is a fairly cheap one off eBay but All the trays have deformed from the heat, so if anyone has a good recommendation it will be very much appreciated cheers.

Cheers. It looks better than what I currently have but someone has had the same issue with the melty shelves.
Do you run yours on full heat with no problems?
The customer questions and review sections did give a little giggle though.

If you run it full heat then it disengages the thermostat completely so it's not actually 70 degrees, it can be way more, and if you put your dehydrator against a wall or something then that traps heat and it will melt itself. Ask me how I know....
The best dehydrators have racks made of better plastics (non-transparent), but these cheap ones are all pretty much the same and use PLA (I think) racks which melt at a bit over 100 degrees.
So, cheap one but run it so the thermostat is doing something and don't put it up against anything unless you've got the cash to buy a miles better one. I had a stockli years ago and it was bomb proof, but they are expensive now.

Yeah I know the review you mean I had a more expensive one (£65ish) with wire racks and it always burnt my shrooms, even on low heat so I only use it for jerky and fruit n shit. Yeah I usually go full bore. Had it on full for 14 hours a few days ago, no bother.

I got this one, it's more than decent just pricey. Worthy investment tho.
Actually, my one is the same brand and dehydrator almost, except mine has a full glass door but I haven't seen that one on there in a while.

That does look well decent but probably a bit too pricey for me atm.
I’m thinking about this one that is one of the few I can still get by Sunday.
SousVideTools 6 Tray Food Dehydrator | Removable and Dishwasher Safe Stainless Steel Trays | Commercial Grade Dehydrator Machine | Great for Drying Fruit, Meat and Vegetables | (SVT-12003) https://amzn.eu/d/caFqIud
It only goes to 65c but at least the shelves aren’t going to melt.

I got his huge mofo, think it's twice the size of previously largest listed here so far.
I only plan to grow annualy in bulk cos I'm busy so although I'm a noob atm, wanted to future-proof myself.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B083DZ24GF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
Also if you don't need that much space, I think they will dry out faster because there will be tonnes of room between each shroom, not sure if I'm right there though tbh.

I'd love the glass petris and filters, I'd also use the rest if no one else is interested. I love the request to donate to charity in return, I'd definitely honour that however I'm currently out of work due to a severe work place injury. If you would be kind enough to post them, I'd happily donate in a few weeks time when I'm back earning. Mush love ✌️&❤️
