outdoor casing?
    #2792529 - 06/14/04 03:37 PM (13 years, 3 months ago)

i want to do an outdoor grow. I do not feel like using anything other than what i have right now im short on money.... could i just do a plain old casing in the ground instead of using hay and manure too?

could i just use verm and peat moss with calcium in it to case 3 cakes in a 2 square foot bed?

what do you think this will turn out like too?

you could dig a samll 6x6" hole break up and burry the cakes and case but your much better off making an indoor casing in a tray, you risk contams and low yield.

If your going to do an outdoor grow. you might as well use compost and straw. a bale of straw is like 5 buxs, and a bag of compost is less than 2 buxs. Just dig a big hole and fill it in with straw, compost, and you jars. Cover it with some dirt and mixed up stuff(leaves, old plant material, etc.) and make sure it doesnt get too dry. Its as easy as that. YOu dont have to worry about contams outside, and your yeild will be way huge. good luck and peace!!!!
