Drug dealer spambots on youtube

In recent months I have been viewing and commenting on a lot of psychedelics related content on youtube. I find the comment section almost unusable. On the one hand, half of my comments get censored by some stupid algorithm, at the same time comment sections get flooded by ever almost identical bot messages telling me that Instam user XYZ wants to sell me all the drugs I could possibly want. Youtube doesn't seem to care. Those messages would be trivial to filter out as they are almost identical. What's that shit? Youtube censoring legitimate messages while leaving drug dealer spam untouched.. Anyone else getting annoyed by this?

I've seen the exact shit happening on every Terrence McKenna or Trip Report video I've been listening to for the past while and it's also annoying the hell out of me. :I
I guess the reason why YouTube doesn't care much for them is because they stick to their own little corner of YouTube that a lot of people don't really care about. Especially YT, since PsycheTube entails illegal actions, and YT wants to be squeaky clean. And since it's illegal bots saying garbage that defenitley isn't true (lets be real here all of those accounts are defenitley NARCs ) in an area of the site that's equivalent to a YouTube Ghetto, YouTube won't really care enough to fix the problem.
I wouldn't know though, maybe they just haven't noticed it because PsycheTube is such a relatively small community? Maybe it's an op to con a bunch of suckers into easy felonies, and YouTube is in on it? Maybe it could be actual dealers that are too stupid to know that the idea of literally advertising your shit on youtube is a bad idea? I don't know and I don't think we ever will know unless someone comes forward from the bots side or YouTube with a solid answer.
Either way it's harmless, at least to me. I don't really reply to comments on Trip Report/McKenna vids anyways, I usually just listen to them in the background :p

These spambot messages invariably point to Instagram accounts, quite a lot of drugs trade is going on on Instagram (and Instagram doesn't care either). Therefore I suppose that they are genuine. But of course, many of them are scammers, so you definitely don't want to order your cultivation necessities from some instagram handle.

For sure, though I don't really think any drug dealer who is an actual drug dealer would advertise on something as insecure as YouTube... even if its a bot network doing it, pointing right to their account and going ' HEY DRUGS ARE BEING TRADED HERE HEY LOOK AT ME! ' would basically make them easy pickings by the DEA or even a poorly funded sheriffs department. Idk, it screams ' sting op ' too loudly to me to be a real thing.
