Either way, you should cut out the uncolonized area and if you have some peroxide it wouldn't be a bad idea to drop some on the area that you cut out.

Thanks people i just birthed 2 for cakes and i'm preparing all the stuff i need for the casing (i'm a tad nervous)...a side note the cakes smelt just like they said it would very earthy and shroomy. I'll do 3 with casing and the other 2 (6 total) with cakes.
