Best jump scares in games. Anyone have a favorite? God I have a sound bar and high end t.v. and it makes me jump.

I love good horror movies and games. Have my wonderful headset and to many games to ever finish on Steam yet when I get to fucked up just like to watch someone else do the puzzles and go through it.
Makes me laugh and I can just relax. Is so amusing when they are just talking and it happens. And the gamer has to get up and walk away for awhile as one is so into it and the mind is on something else and then it happens.
I don't know, shit just makes me laugh when I don't want to put the time or effort in a game. Just turn it on with the gaming headphones full blast and play horror games.
God, still need to finish Visage and Martha is Dead. The ending of Summer and just feel so lazy. Sometimes in gaming is easier to let others do the work and yes I get impatient when I play and just watch the walkthroughs but some don't. Like it is a pride thing. I have been playing this for 24 hours straight, well, good for you. I don't have that level of patience.
But anyway, spoilers.

Alien Isolation is done very well. If you enjoy the horror genre and jump scares, it's definitely a game I would recommend.
Also if you are into the original Alien and Aliens movies, it captures the look, feel and aesthetic from the first movie for sure.

If you love horror games and jump scares you must experience them in VR sometime! I feel desensitized to flat screen horror games and movies now. Currently playing Blair Witch VR, it’s slower paced but does it well to build anticipation and anxiety.

Yeah, heard good things about Alien Isolation. And yeah I saw the first Alien movie. Made me laugh how the director didn't tell anyone in the cast that baby alien was going to come out of his stomach so a movie jump scare for the actors that was genuine. Same with Die Hard the late actor didn't know when the director had him fall at the end. Clips of jump scares don't do it justice for games or movies, it takes the build up when one isn't expecting it. I love it in both genres. Or experiencing it in real life and I think why some of the best haunted houses each October are so popular.
Is amusing to me to shout out unconsciously something when it hits in good movies and games. What an adrenaline rush. Is also amusing to me how I seek that out as so many do through so many different means. No judgement to any of it and I get why a lot of people love it and some hate it.
When done right it is just like, yeah you got me then I laugh.
