I think there are more problems than just "colors"...
1) When i'm replying to a post, I can only see THAT post, not the entire thread.
2) I liked being able to *see* the little "post icon" rather than boring text: "note", "chat", "crazy", blah blah
3) The colors still do suck, but I'm willing to overlook that if you can make it open in a subframe of the shroomery window like the old one...people who want that extra window cluttering up their display can open the link in a new window like any other page.
4) That's all I can think of now, but I'll let you know when I think up more crap...i'm sure you'll be giggling in anticipation.

The new BOARD is PURE GOLD. It kicks the shit out of the old one. The old one was waaaaaaaaay slower. Thanks Shroomery for getting rid of all those trolls too.

The new one is great. Much more powerful. I didn't use the Shroomery for a week when I saw the new board. I thought it blew but then I gave it a chance and edited the preferences and all and I love it.

Please explain the phrase "much more powerful".
If you mean "powerful" as in alot of little frilly things that tickle your eyes....then yeah, I guess it's more powerful...
but if you're talking about functionality...PLEASE, show me what you're talking about so that I, too, may experience the miracle of the new board to it's fullest.

More power is being able to turn off the ability for people PM you. Or how about being able to have an e-mail sent to you when someone replies to a thread you posted. Having the ability for them to ban IP addresses is a huge plus.
Just goto Edit Profile and look around. But mainly more power is just plain faster. This thing blows the crap out of the old board on loading time. It is way faster. Oh yeah it is really nice how easy it is upload also.

I like that I can tell which threads have new responses since the last time I was here so I don't waste time looking over old crap.
Plus I like being able to set how many post appear on a page before it repages.
