The man gave his life to bettering society through healthcare and the far right made him give up his position in government. I fear what this means for our future. Support Fauci in his future endeavors. He needs our support now more than ever.

Millions of people lost their jobs because they didn't get the vaccine. That should be appalling, given how mild the disease was. And many were killed by vaccine injuries.
The amount that were "saved", pales in comparison with the amount of damage his policies did and doesn't make up for it at all.
There were far better treatments available for the elderly, who were virtually the only ones in danger.
Plus the censorship campaign that went along with it all was uproariously unamerican, and absolutely damnable. Enil was also a pawn of the oppression. Enlil should also resign.

One could argue those people had a choice. The vaccine kept people safe.

The vaccine is being treated like a super hero when they don't mitigate enough damage and the public is all like "Wahhh, you're the problem." Not to literally equate the vaccine to a super hero because it has obvious problems, but situationally it hits all the right spots for me. Split a city sized asteroid and people will complain a couple condos got sprinkled on. Mitigate a potentially apocalyptic mutation and maintain the healthcare system = piece of shit move

Lying scumbag, good riddance.
Let's go through his lies one by one, shall we...
I'd be glad to provide links for all these if you don't believe me. He has a history of stabbing people in the back, lying and being a weasel.
1. To drum up fear of AIDS, spread the rumor that it could spread through normal contact, leading to homophobic attacks. Reversed his position completely after taking over at the NIH.
2. Gave an over-million dollar grant to risky hybrid virus research in china. That research helped make a hybrid SARS mixed with wild coronaviruses. Lied and told congress it 'wasn't gain of function'.
3. In late 2020, Oversaw a meeting of many scientists discussing the possibility that the virus leaked from a lab. Said recently that the meeting contained many different views, with many scientists maintaining that the virus was lab-created. Told the public there was not way it was from a lab, and that this was a baseless conspiracy. Essentially, sold out thousands of dissenting scientists to form a narrative.
4. Lied and told people that masks weren't needed. But he knew at the time that masks helped reduce spread. Then he changed his opinion and mandated masks. Told the public he was OK to lie to them. Absolute scumbaggery.
Since he basically admitted to lying about masks and said he was justified, who knows what else he lied about? We may have to take a thousand more years to figure out what else he lied about. He's a 'scientist' who thinks it is OK for scientists to spread absolute bullshit. Professional liar, more like.

The vaccine programs cells to manufacture a spike protein that bonds to cell walls, blocking absorption, wasting resources for the organism.
It caused blood clots and cardiovascular inflammation in millions of people.

Fauci, March 8 2020, on masks for COVID: "There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask."
Fauci is supposedly an expert on infectious diseases and should have known that masks help stop respiratory diseases. Him saying this was very irresponsible. It was either a result of him lying, or severe incompetence. Which was it?

Both seem like honest genuine statements but the later declares an intention to disrupt the forum by posting specifically to get a rise out of people which is against the rules of the forum. While the first statement does demean an entire group of people but is an honest expression of opinion that wasn't even directed at a specific individual.
Also, calling someone stupid or a fucktard, moron, idiot, ect. Is perfectly fine once in a while but dont start every post with an attack on another user.

Fauci is leaving because he knows he's probably going to be fucked sooner or later when it's revealed that he was behind covid-19 and he tried to make the chinks be the scapegoat. If the right wing in the US isn't able to charge him for his crimes, I'm sure the Chinese will be happy to do so. The only sad part is that he's already old as shit, so he'll probably die before he can be punished and justice can be done

The fact that a global pandemic occurred, every nation on Earth tried to halt it for the sake of humanity’s health, and then rightwing (I won’t call them morons) people started calling it a conspiracy, well, it’s frankly disgusting.
My opinion of slightly less than half of the USA took a real nosedive. I now better understand how genocides and very horrible things are permitted to occur within societies that regard themselves as ethical and rule based.
this has to be a troll account. It was literally a conspiracy. Multiple worked together and worked on gain of function research which led to a disease breaking out in Wuhan, China, likely from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. And it wasn't even a deadly pandemic or anything much worse than the flu or pneumonia. It was a convenient excuse for governments to shut down whole sectors of the economy, change how society works, and throw millions of people into poverty or worse, just so they can have more power and more control over society. All I care about is that the truth someday comes out, but just like with JFK, The OKC bombing, 9/11, and Sandy Hook, it probably never will. I will never stop hating the people that forced destruction upon us through lies and deceit.

I think it’s just a young person who has guzzled the kool aid and is likely very insulated. The fantasy is their understanding of the world and they haven’t been out in the world enough to have any sort of calibration as to what this reality is. Likely did good in high school and maybe college, I hear this is exactly what they’re trying to create there now days so they probably got a lot of positive reinforcements in the few places they’ve spent their time. They’ve definitely got a long road ahead of them whatever the case. Hopefully they learn grace sooner than later for the sake of those who have to share space.

It's really sad this needs to be a debate, it's not like the evidence isn't clear and available for all. If the time ever comes and the SHTF the doubters will absolutely be the ones following orders so at least they make themselves known.

Biden delivered one of if not the most powerful speech I’ve heard in a long time tonight. Talk about a born leader. He made me proud to be an American. He’s absolutely right, together we can thrive in this democracy, but we have to be careful because the far right has used violence as a political means n they’re trying to disenfranchise the rest of us. We have to remember, “we the people.”

idk about all that. Personally, I wouldn’t go that far. It was a decent speech
The way some of these people are talking in here, it’s some dark twisted paranoid delusion shit. Maybe they aren’t even MAGA republicans and I’m jumping to conclusions. Hard to say anymore. There’s all kinds of crazy out there these days.

Yes, which is what makes this so concerning. If they could push a man out who dedicated his entire life to save lives, what could they do to the common man?

It's important that no government has the power to force people to get a vaccine because of the phenomenon that power tends to corrupt.

Biden did the impossible by winning the 2020 election. Not many people even thought he'd be the democratic nominee, let alone become the president. I think he's just getting warmed up and has big things on the way. Once he wins in 2024 he'll really let loose.

Some value freedom above safety. Some value the safety of the race above the safety of the individual. Both ideologies would disapprove of forcing a vaccine..
Also, if vaccines worked, they wouldn't need to be forced.

It is important to question the science. If the science cannot stand up to harsh scrutiny the science is flawed and therefore faulty and should be, and usually is, entirely disregarded by those who use scientific methods to discover truths.
Trusting the scientific method to discover facts is one thing, jumping on a band wagon and regurgitating nonsense is something else entirely. The first is a way to prove something to someone else by allowing them the opportunity to prove it to themselves. The second is a way to create or forward the idiocracy movement.

Yes but most of us aren’t scientists. If Fauci says the science is accurate and we should trust it, what’s the issue?
|
Anonymous #3

The issue is that the world does not work that way. This is because power tends to corrupt people, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
So rather than trust what the government is saying, you should be rather sceptical and educate yourself, instead of taking what they say as gospel truth.
History shows this to be the case.

Do you understand that the pharmaceutical industry has lobbyists in Washington who pay politicians to support their products?

Fauci is like the "hero" fireman who puts the fire out and saves the little babies and puppies then they find out a few months later he started the fire. Not a perfect analogy, as the fire in this case couldn't have been orchestrated by a single person acting alone, but it serves.
