First time trying to grow natalensis, I think I started these mid June. I broke up the shoebox and threw some new coir on it when it wasn't pinning for like a month. Bigger tub has been doing pretty good. Gonna get to harvest the tiny shoebox shrooms soon probably.

I had 2.5g dried of nats and 1.3 of cubes and had a lot less nausea than a similar dose with cubes alone. It was kind of underwhelming but i think ill try again with fresh fruits next time around

I've been thinking Nats + Pan cyan and/or subtropicalis might be nice.

looks good sd
I think fresh is def the way to go…I had a tub that was drying out so the fruits didn’t turn to mush, even though I left them on the sub for like 5 days after they stopped growing, they kind of dried with the tub a little bit but i had a small one on the weekend and it felt stronger than normal.
might be in my head but it was a nice surprise

A subtropica cross would be insanely interesting and novel depending on the other participant

What is your substrate? I got some Nats on agar fixing to go to LC. I think I'm going full mono this time.

Cloned some of the snow piles few days ago. I guess someone already did that, but I didn't see the results and didn't search, so I wonder what happens when I S2B. I like the snow and I like to make little FAE so the fruits do their spaghetti thing.

Also I like the diversity of fruits on the later waves. After big cube-like fruits cease to grow, little strange short fellows come into game.

Just coir. Usually I don’t do a top layer for natalensis so I’m wondering if that’s contributing to the puffy growth.

Well apparently I need to not drink so much h. I have 6 jars of Nats almost fully colonized I didn't remember I made from an LC a week or so ago. I guess I'm back on the Nat train sooner than I thought.
Also coir looms really dark which is why I asked. Didn't know if it was poo/coir. Could be camera flash.
