mycelium transplant

Is there anyway that I could get some mycelium from where Ive been hunting and somehow transplant it to a bed of some sort? If so what could I add to the substrate to help growth. Could I just mix some fertilizer with some hay and soil? What would be the best way to introduce the mycelium into its new spot.

Eh, you could take a piece and transfer to an agar plate and go from there, but why would you go through all the trouble. Just look up an outdoor grow tek if you want to grow them outside.

i assume your hunting cubies right? take a cow pie home that you know has produced cubes before, and take a few other cow pies that have NO myc. growing in/on them. pick a nice shady spot and basicly follow an outdoor tek from there.
i guess that might work.

I don't see hy now, you can but try.
Like Mescal says, take a pattie thats got, or had fruits on, and a few fresher ones, and create a new patch nearer home.
i would just copy nature, and place them onto grass, fertiliser is a no no, unless you mean more poo. Then the key is water. Water them as oftern as possible.

Good luck, hope it works out.
