Nice finds peeps!!
Finding loads of mycelium all over the place! This spot is truly “infested” with Caerulescens
The last pic is a good sign of things to come. Finally fruiting from the inclined areas!

The birds know where all the good spots are, and so do the slugs!! Believe it or not the pins are extremely hard to spot, but once you see a full canopy, it’s undeniable and beautiful

I'm near the Lake Lanier/Buford area and I cannot find any caerulescens for the life of me. Do you guys go on public trails? I know they like pines.. and I've been in plenty of pine forests. I just don't know exactly where I should be looking; I'm very inexperienced. Any tips?

Ohhhhh they're out there...
Look for places that have been disturbed recently. Sewer lines, parks, neighborhoods... They are out there

go back to page 10. I reposted a summary from Dr. G that helped me tons.
Narly sterile cluster from yesterday. I’ve noticed that the slugs tend to eat the sterile way more than the ones with spores.

Gosh you two are in your goldmines. I check this page about once a day and I’m continuously blown away at the finds. Would love to know how many hours/days per week you all are putting into this sick treasure hunt. Just like Pariah I’m thankful to find even a small solo level one’er out here.

Last year I harvested 15ish pounds through the whole season. I only hunted maybe once a week for an hour or 2. I got very lucky finding a heavy producing spot. I took a break from it all for a while and I really don't hunt at all anymore. I have a small spot that will pop up a few here and there and can grab them walking with the fam, that's really all the looking I do anymore.

Don’t even matter if it’s wet or dry, 15 pounds is enough to retire on!!! You truly must have had a unicorn spot. It’s almost as if you did hunt, nothing you’d find would top it. For reference I think my total finds for last season was .5 Oz dry

This really isn't the place for ID request. Typically you'd ask for that separately. Plus you didn't provide any pics.

Finally found these guys. Been looking forever for them and prolly have seen about a thousand different types of mushrooms in the process of looking over the years. Thanks to this thread and the past ones for the guidance

Long time no see boys!
Been having a tough go at hunting the past yearish. All three of my confirmed spots have been completely demolished by the city and not shit has come back.
Got lucky with a few finds today but they seem to be the sporeless variety..not sure how this effects future fruits in the same area but I'm excited to have finally found some regardless.
Not quite like ev or nitro but I'm trying

Awesome finds everyone! Special congrats to Lil.B on his first Caerulescens find!
I couldn't let everyone else have all of the fun, so I decided to go for a little walk. I wasn't disappointed. Left a bunch of pins that will hopefully mature in the next couple days.

Yessir, thanks everyone! It’s crazy how accurate yall are in describing the habitats to look in. I was mistakenly looking in old forests for years and never found a single one. The moment I decided to look in ( recently disturbed area, bermuda grass, shaded area, sloping grass where water will run, close to tree line) that’s when I found them. The spot I looked in checked all the boxes for prime growth according to these forums, and sure enough they were there. I thought I was cursed by not finding them. Turns out I was just stubborn and lookin in wrong spots
